Removing moisture and foreign matter from incoming air is vital to maintaining corrosion free hulls and equipment.
AIR DEFENCE design and manufacture a range of mist eliminators to protect combustion air, void ventilation, and HVAC intakes.
AIR DEFENCE Vent Heads offer protection where horizontal surface penetrations are required. They incorporate a range of features including self-closing/opening ball float, storm shutter, flanged connection and easily maintained, removable separator cartridge. Available in a range of sizes to replace the common ‘gooseneck’ intake. Sizes available range from 2” right up to 12” and any custom size required for our client’s needs.
AIR DEFENCE Surface Mount Separators (SMS) offer protection where vertical surface penetrations are required. Options include welded or flanged attachment, storm shutters, single and multi-stage separation, and dust filtration. SMS’ can also be hinged to allow easy access to the vessel internal structure. These units are not restricted to set sizing, shape or vane spacing, these can be fully custom designed to suit any protection, aesthetic or size requirements required for any project.
Design is completed in-house using 3D modelling and analysis software, which allows for custom designs to meet our client’s needs.
Manufacturing with the aid of CNC machinery ensures our devices meet strict marine classification guidelines.
